Editing Commands and Groups

Rename

To rename a command or group, select the item you wish to rename and press the F2 key. The command or group node text should enter edit mode. Type in the new text and press the return key when you are finished.

To delete a group or command, select the item you wish to delete and press Ctrl+Del. Please be aware that there is currently no 'undo' option in Vectir, so if you delete a group or command it will be permanently lost. A confirmation dialog will pop up to confirm that you wish to permanently delete the group or command.

Groups and commands can be copied and pasted using the Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V shorcut keys. To copy a group, select the group and press Ctrl+C. To paste a copy of the group into the 'Commands' panel treeview, press Ctrl+V.

To copy a command, select the command and press Ctrl+C. To paste the command, select the destination group that you would like to receive the command and press Ctrl+V.

The copy and paste commands are also available from the 'group' right click context menu and the 'commands' right click context menu. Alternatively, you may use the copy and paste options from the edit menu.
